From Market Stall to Manufacturing — Amina’s Journey
In Northern Morocco, Amina led a women’s cooperative making herbal beauty products. IGI provided a
micro-grant, mentorship, and packaging resources. Within a year, production grew fivefold, three
wholesale contracts were secured, and four new jobs were created. Today, the cooperative is
preparing to scale with potential investment from Global Impact Investments (GII).
Bringing Healthcare to Remote Afghan Villages
Partnering with TFFNC, IGI helped fund a mobile health clinic serving isolated Afghan
villages. In its first nine months, the clinic served 3,200 villagers, increased prenatal care by 85%, and
employed four healthcare workers. Discussions are underway to replicate the model in other regions,
potentially with GII support for expansion.
